Henry Elmer Parmer purchased his father's sheet metal tools for $35.00 in 1889. He brought them home in a wheelbarrow, and went into business for himself. We incorporated just before the onset of the Great Depression.

The company has been located on Underwood Street  near Fisk University, Deadrick Street in the heart of downtown Nashville and then at 5th Avenue North. We moved to our present location on County Hospital Road in 1979 to accommodate more expansion. 

We made our first fender in 1971 and now offer over 4500 different fenders in many styles and materials, including stainless steel.
